JERMAINE SELLERS as Otis (Blues Singer) is a noted professional vocalist and performer who received mainstream exposure when he landed as the 2nd Runner Up during the 1st season of BET’s reality show, Sunday’s Best.  In 2009, he career reached a new plateau when he appeared on the wildly popular American Idol, placing in the Top 24.  Riding the wave of success, he had his acting debut as a lead character in Tyler Perry’s, The Marriage Counselor.  Raised in Joliet, IL, Sellers’ trained and performed with Walt Whitman & The Soul Children of Chicago. He toured the world as a backing vocalist for several R&B and gospel artists, including the Grammy Award winning R&B superstar, Monica.  He was the host of BET’s 106 & Gospel, a spin off of the popular 106 & Park.  Jermaine is a professional vocal coach, based in NY.  He is presently working on a new studio recording.

KHARI HUGHES (Johnny) is a singer, writer, actor, host, and musician from New Jersey. "Ive been passionate about musical art since I could remember." Khari has trained with Diversity Youth Theater (Montclair, NJ), Vy Higgensen's Gospel for Teens (Harlem, NY), Papermill Playhouse (Millburn, NJ), and Stella Adler (Hollywood, CA). Off Broadway credits: The Me Nobody Knows (Lloyd), Mama I want to Sing (Choir Ensemble), Imagine! A Holiday Youth Musical (Chauncey). TV Credits: The Glee Project (Top 40 men)  Web Series:  Sears Rock the Scene Contest. (Host) Since moving back from California, Khari plans to take all of his artistic talents and continue to expand them. "The number one goal when working with any production/project is growth."

CASSY POGENSKY (Delilah)  is so pleased to be entering her final year of the BFA Acting program at Pace University this Fall. Raised in Montclair, NJ, her regional theatre credits include Maribel in Think! For Yourself performed at Luna Stage and Kristen in Hope Lives Here at SOPAC in West Orange, NJ: both original plays directed by Kathy D. Harrison. Her theatre credits at Pace University include the titular role in Eurydice by Sarah Ruhl and Angela Davis/Minister Conrad Muhammed in Fires in the Mirror by Anna Deveare Smith. Cassy is an actor, dancer and voiceover artist based in New York, NY.

NIGEL EKPE WILLIAMS (Spanky)  is the youngest cast member of Southern Boys.  He has a natural comfort with the performance world since music, theater and dance are an intricate part of his upbringing.  He has been a  member of Diversity Youth Theatre since 2012.  Nigel attends a private school, where he excels academically, recently winning 1st place in a year round math competition. In 2017, he was the MC for the schoolwide Fashion show, grabbing the attention of the High School Theater Director.  He aspires to become an inventor that improves the conditions of the world. Nigel is passionate about basketball and soccer, and plays on Intramural teams.
